About tour
We offer you a guided tour of the Catherine Palace – the most spectacular of all palaces in St.Petersburg’s suburbs, the city of Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo). You will see the famous Amber Room - the world’s eighth wonder, stop in the Grand Hall all penetrated with light pouring through windows and reflected by a myriad of mirrors, go down the Golden Enfilade whose name speaks for itself, and see Catherine the Great’s rooms. Here you will get acquainted with a very interesting collection of furniture and objects of applied art, which belonged to the Royal family. After the tour of the Catherine Palace, you have another treat ahead, which is a short walking tour in the famous Catherine Park. A tour of the Catherine Palace in the city of Pushkin can be booked in any season: the Catherine Park is magnificent both in autumn and in winter, and in event of bad weather you can always spend longer time at the palace and reduce the walk in the park.

Russian ballet is primarily a classical ballet that preserves the traditions of the 19th century. This does not mean that we do not have a modern ballet, we have one, and it is a very good modern ballet (for example, the Boris Eifman troupe). But it is classical ballet that is truly unique, because nowhere else in the world is it raised to such a high level.
